You’ll laugh till your sides hurt when Max performs his Christmas magic show at school, only to have his two new friends show up and ruin every trick he tries to perform.  Max soon finds out that Nicky and Tara are being chased by an evil ghost named Phears and it’s up to Max to help the Rolands escape a ghostly fate!

This Caldecott Prize-winning book takes us all back to the old fashioned barn.  The cows are cold and Farmer Brown doesn’t seem to care.  When the cows find an old typewriter and learn to type, they nail their first demand to the barn door: “Dear Farmer Brown, The barn is very cold at night. We'd like some electric blankets. Sincerely, The Cows.” When he refuses to comply with their demands, Farmer Brown finds another note on the barn door: "Sorry. We're closed. No milk today." Unfortunately for Farmer Brown, his farm is filled with animals that have needs of their own. The strike won’t end until everyone learns the art of compromise. This hilarious tale will give young rebels-in-the-making a taste of the power of peaceful protest.

An original musical written by Richard Rosen, Executive Director

This original musical by Executive Director Richard Rosen is the third musical in his Fairy Tale Trilogy (LA CINDERELLA and SNOW WHITE AND THE SEVEN AMIGOS).  Using English and a little bit of Spanish, it weaves a new and wacky version of Sleeping Beauty, complete with fairies (good and evil), a sleeping castle on the top of a pyramid in Mexico, and the Prince of the Canary Islands, who is on his way to San Antonio, where he will become the governor and live in the Governor’s palace. When the Prince comes upon the most beautiful sleeping Princess in the Americas, his life changes forever.  If you fell in love with the enchanting La Cinderella, laughed out loud at Snow White and The Seven Amigos, you will love this tribute to our most enduring fairy tales, stories about independent young girls who overcome amazing odds and dangers to make their dreams come true.

Bienvenidos a Agrabah, City of Enchantment! Disney's Aladdin Dual Language Edition is a combination of English and Spanish, completely understandable whether you speak English, Spanish, or both. Our story begins centuries ago, when the royalty of Agrabah spoke one language and the citizens another. Communication is impossible without translation - which is controlled by the evil vizier Jafar.  When the rebellious princess and a delinquent street rat meet in the marketplace, they find something special in one another, work to transcend the barriers between them, and with a little magic help create a better future for themselves and for Agrabah. This touching musical adventure with the tuneful Academy Award-winning score - including "A Whole New World" and "Friend Like Me," with lyrics in both languages - will thrill Spanish- and English-speaking audiences.
