Ms. Joy is theatre artist, improv poet, and instructor for National Performers Academy, San Antonio Wolf Trap, and Gemini Ink. She spent four years co-leading the ALAS Youth Theatre Company in the production of over 30 original shows created by and for San Antonio youth. Her students have won National Scholastic Arts and Writing Medals as well as performed work around San Antonio. Joy has been trained in the Wolf Trap method, which introduces fundamental performance arts elements into the preschool classroom to engage and activate the young learner’s imagination and critical thinking skills. She started with us during Spring Academy and we loved her so much we keep bringing her back!
