Get ready for Camp Bootcamp! This week-long session is the perfect introduction to Magik Theatre Summer Camps! Campers will participate in theatre games, acting activities, voice lessons, and dance lessons. They will learn important theatre basics, including improvisation, storytelling, and how to work as part of an ensemble. Bootcamp is the ideal way to discover what camp is all about while making lasting friendships along the way.
This session will conclude with a fun-filled Friday, featuring a camp-wide show and tell where campers can showcase their newly acquired skills.
This camp will not include a public showcase at the end.
BLUEY’S BIG DANCE PARTY
June 8 – 19, 2026
9 am – 1 pm
Come along on a Bluey class adventure! Inspired by the episode “Dance Mode”, campers will learn about managing emotions through play, embracing change, and the importance of teamwork!
This session will end with an energetic showcase, where campers perform onstage and star in their very own dance competition!
THE VERY BEAUTIFUL BUTTERFLY
June 22 – July 3, 2026
9 am – 1 pm
Drawing inspiration from Eric Carle’s The Very Hungry Caterpillar, campers will use movement and storytelling to learn about growth and the life cycle of a beautiful butterfly!
This session will end with a fun showcase where campers perform onstage and star in a ballet-style dance piece that reminds them that change can be beautiful!
MS. RACHEL’S CLASS PLAY: I’M SO HAPPY
July 6 – 17, 2026
9 am – 1 pm
Hi friends! Join Ms. Rachel for singing, dancing, and a whole lot of learning! In this session campers will practice building confidence, and working as a team.
This session will end with a fun showcase where campers perform onstage to some of Ms. Rachel’s most popular songs!
PIRATES AND FAIRIES
July 20 – 31, 2026
9 am – 1 pm
Explore the magical world of fairies and pirates! In this two-week session, campers learn how to create a character and use movement to tell a story.
This session will culminate in a showcase where campers will perform onstage as either a fairy or a pirate, as they discover that making friends is the greatest adventure of all!
WICKED: DANCING THROUGH LIFE
June 8 – 19, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Take a journey to Oz, and join us as we dance through life! This powerful story reminds us all to embrace who we are, and stand up for what is right.
This session will culminate in a showcase where campers will perform onstage to some of the most popular songs from Wicked!
KPOP DEMON HUNTERS: BORN TO BE
June 22 – July 3, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Evil villains stand no chance against the incredible power of teamwork! Campers will be empowered to embrace the power of community support, enabling them to conquer hidden challenges and forge deep, lasting friendships.
This session will end with a showcase in which campers will use dance to powerfully convey their message of good overcoming evil!
LEGO WORLD: EVERYTHING IS AWESOME
July 6 – 17, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Take a trip to the amazing land of Lego! There, campers will learn about the value of working together, and using creativity to overcome obstacles.
This session ends with a super fun showcase where campers will remind us all that Everything is Awesome when you’re part of a team!
SHREK: I’M A BELIEVER
July 20 – 31, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Embark on an extraordinary adventure to Shrek’s swamp, where appearances can be deceiving! Campers will discover the power of inner beauty and celebrate the unique qualities that make each of us shine.
This exciting session will culminate in an exhilarating showcase featuring the upbeat anthem “I’m a Believer,” leaving everyone inspired and energized!
SCHOOL OF ROCK: LIVE HARDCORE
June 8 – 19, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Grab your friends and get ready to rock! This exhilarating session highlights the thrill of discovering your passion, embracing your true self, and experiencing the transformative power of music.
We’ll wrap things up with an electrifying rock showcase, where campers can unleash their talent and live hardcore!
PUPPET PLAY: INTRO TO PUPPETRY
June 22 – July 3, 2026

Welcome to the exciting world of tech theater! In this session, campers will receive hands-on instruction from a professional stage technician as they learn to design and create their own puppets.
The session will conclude with a technical showcase where campers will display their hand-crafted puppets in the lobby of the Magik Theatre.
STRANGER THINGS: DIVE INTO THE UPSIDE DOWN
July 6 – 17, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Grab your dice and alert your dungeon master-it’s time to explore the Upside Down! In this session, campers will discover how tech elements, such as lights and music, can enhance suspense and unleash the imagination.
The session will culminate in an exciting showcase featuring popular music from Stranger Things!
CREATURE FEATURES: INTRO TO PROP MAKING
July 20 – 31, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Welcome to the exciting world of tech theater! In this session, campers will receive hands-on instruction from a professional stage technician as they learn to design and create their own creature props and stage elements.
The session will conclude with a technical showcase where campers will display their hand-crafted creatures in the lobby of Magik Theatre.
LEGALLY BLONDE: DREAMS COME TRUE
June 8 – 19, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Campers will learn about self-advocacy and the power of determination as they dance and sing their way toward the halls of Harvard.
This session will conclude with an energetic showcase featuring the lively music loved by Elle Woods.

BEETLEJUICE: STRANGE AND UNUSUAL
June 22 – July 3, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
It’s showtime! Join us for a horror-comedy camp session filled with thrills, chills, and famously spooky dance moves! Campers will have the opportunity to dance, sing, and engage in discussions about important topics from the show, including the importance of family and living life to the fullest.
The session will conclude with a showcase, where campers will proudly display their unique talents and celebrate being wonderfully strange and unusual!
MEAN GIRLS: FEARLESS
July 6 – 17, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Step into the vibrant world of North Shore High! Here, campers will unleash their passion for singing and dancing while courageously confronting important social issues like bullying and peer pressure.
The journey will culminate in an inspiring showcase, where campers will have the chance to shine and share their incredible talents!
GREASE IS THE WORD
July 20 – 31, 2026
9 am – 4 pm
Step into the shoes of a Rydell High Greaser or Pink Lady as we learn about peer pressure, teamwork, and celebrate the importance of friendship!
This session will end with a rockin’ showcase filled with plenty of nostalgia and good tunes you can’t help but move to. Grease is the word!
Center Stage Players: A Reader’s Theatre Performance
June 6-August 1, 2026
Under the leadership of a Magik Director, campers will take a deep dive into script and character analysis. Each camper will be assigned a role and will enhance their acting and public speaking skills through voice, body language, and facial expressions, without the need to memorize lines. This camp will end with an evening reader’s theatre performance, where campers will perform onstage with scripts and minimal tech elements, allowing their talents to take center stage!
The last Saturday session, Saturday August 1st, will require attendance at regular rehearsal from 9am-1pm, with an additional evening call to participate in the performance.
Campers must commit to being present for all 8 Saturday sessions!

Celebrate the final days of summer! In this week-long session, campers will participate in different stagecraft techniques, such as making puppets, costume pieces, masks, and more!
This session will conclude with a fun-filled Friday featuring a camp-wide masquerade party!
This camp will not include a public showcase at the end.
