A NIGHT OF MAGIK 2023: CABARET DE NUIT

Thank you so much for your support of A Night of Magik 2023. You helped us surpass our goal and raised over $83,000!

Magik Theatre’s annual fundraising gala, A Night of Magik: Cabaret de Nuit took place in Magik’s historic downtown venue in the Hemisfair District. Attendees enjoyed a display of hours d’oeuvres, drinks, desserts, and more.

The event featured emcee Clarke Finney of KENS 5/Great Day SA, live musical performances from Magik’s talented actors Rosa Gardner, Mariel Ardila, Izabella Montes, and Jon Renee, guest performers Old Friends Trio, as well as a champagne toast sponsored by Joseph Bruni. Magik Theatre’s CEO, Frank Villani, and founder, Richard Rosen, were honored.

The event’s honorary chair was Alice Bruni, with the event committee including Board President Pam Bramble, Board member Sara Chadek, and Nicole McAllister. The support from A Night of Magik helped ensure the longevity of our educational and outreach programming, as well as our theatrical performances.

For over 28 years, Magik Theatre has brought books, characters, and stories to life on stage for young audiences. As a leader in San Antonio’s arts community – and the only resident, professional theatre company dedicated to young audiences– Magik Theatre feels a strong responsibility to ensure that the arts remain an integral part of San Antonio students’ education. Our ticket subsidy program, Tickets to Literacy, discounted 40,000 student tickets in the past year for Title 1 schools, 2,500 were free for students, and another 43,500 individuals saw one of our touring shows free or at a reduced rate. Without your support, Magik Theatre would struggle to reach those who cannot access our programming directly.
