Old Folktale; Adapted for the stage by Richard Rosen, Executive Director

Millions of children and adults have seen the various versions of the famous holiday ballet. Few have ever read the original tale, THE NUTCRACKER AND THE KING OF MICE, written in 1816 by E.T.A HOFFMAN. The Magik Theatre creates its own stage version of this wonderful classic story. Part Circus, part theatre, the story will be told by some of our greatest teams of comedians. See the Marx Brothers play roles, as well as Martin and Lewis, Abbot and Costello, Lucy and Ethel, and others. This wonderful story will educate youngsters who haven’t seen the best clowns of Hollywood about the healing power of laughter. It captures the magic of a child as she watches a magnificent magician make toys come to life in the most magnificent dream she will ever have - a dream that will stay with her forever. ENJOYABLE FOR PEOPLE OF ALL AGES!
