The Magik Theatre In the Community Community Events  Once again, The Westin La Cantera Resort will partner with The
Magik Theatre and present “The Pirates Holiday” based on the classic
holiday story “T’was the Night Before Christmas” at the resort. Shows
are from November 19 to December 23. Open seating is limited. Call in advance for
specific show dates*. Reservations can be made by calling Concierge at 210.558.2439. Cost is $5.00 for adults; children under 3 are free. A portion of the proceeds will go to a local charity. *Specific show dates include: Nov. 19, Dec. 3, Dec. 10, Dec. 16, Dec. 17 at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m., Dec. 19, Dec. 20, Dec. 21, Dec. 22 and Dec. 23. About the Show... Everyone celebrates the holiday season, even the scurviest pirates ever to sail the seven seas. Onboard the St. Nick, all the pirates are looking forward to Christmas Eve and the annual appearance of Jolly Ol’ White Beard. But when a fierce storm hits unexpectedly, pirates Catfish, Scuttle, and Briny are tossed overboard. Marooned on an uncharted island, separated from their ship and mates, the three worry that they’ll miss all the festivities. Will they find their way back to the St. Nick in time?
