Email: cboneta@magiktheatre.org Chris has been working with the Magik Theatre for many years. He creates most of the graphic art produced at the Magik Theatre. Chris also assists with set construction, and sound and light board operation. Three of his children have performed on the Magik stage in productions ranging from academy classes to Shakespeare in the Park.
Born in Mobile, Alabama; James Tyrone Apollo Bradley Jr. grew up believing he was going to be in the U.S. army. When his mother Rosemary was transferred to work in San Antonio he and his siblings moved along to Texas and there he fell into the world of the stage. Studying at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in Los Angeles, James grew as an actor and as an individual. He moved back to Texas to be with his family and since being back has become a company member at the Magik Theatre. There he has been cast in a number of shows from the Aesop's Fables tour to Schoolhouse Rock Live.
Dylan has been a company member at Magik for several years. He has also worked with the San Pedro Playhouse and The Cameo Center. Last winter he was featured in a one man show at the Church Bistro called Santa Diaries. He has appeared in many Magik shows including a recent appearance as the Raspa Boy in Phantom of the Alamo. This past summer Dylan appeared as Peteruchio in the Magik/ ArtsSA production of Taming the Shrew at the Botanical Gardens. His son, Noah, is his inspiration for all things.
Joe Cooley attended a variety of schools where he studied a number of things, including; athletic training, culinary arts, geographical creeds, quantum mechanics, and theatre. Of all these things, he found sanctuary in the theatrical arts. Since finding the haven of theatre, he has played such roles as Mercutio, Senex, and even God. He is enthralled to be working at The Magik Theatre, and looks forward to working with some of the most brilliant actors of the period. Since joining the troupe he has sustained numerous injuries and learned even more about life; he won't be going anywhere any time soon.

She has known Executive Director Richard Rosen for almost 16 years from the early days of the Illegitimate Theater Company on Commerce Street. She has been involved with almost every production at the Magik whether it's acting, directing or making costumes. She is also the director of the after school Academy. Married to Gary and mom to Dylan and Alex, Angela is grateful every day for making a living as an artist in this beautiful city.

Before graduating, she spent six months abroad in London where she redefined her passion for theatre. In 2006 Brandi worked as an apprentice at the Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey before returning to San Antonio. Some of Brandi’s favorite theatre credits include Lucy in Dracula, Paulina in A Winter’s Tale, Frauline Kost in Cabaret, and Kate Monster from Avenue Q in a Broadway revue at Trinity. In her spare time, Brandi likes to paint and spend time with her family, friends, and puppies.

Some credits include Peggy Sawyer in 42nd Street, Sandy in Grease, Audrey in Little Shop of Horrors, Kathy Selden in Singin’ In The Rain at the Springer Opera House, Jean in the national tour of Barney’s Let’s Go - Live Show, Ariel in The Voyage of The Little Mermaid and Claire in The Hoop Dee Doo Review at Walt Disney World. Becky is very proud to have made her directorial debut and performed in Magik’s production of Schoolhouse Rock Live!

After four years as an elementary school teacher, Shelley has joined the Magik Theatre Company as Stage Manager and Assistant to the Executive Director. She feels very lucky to be able to mesh her passion for education with her love for theatre.
David Morgan likes pie. He also likes theatre (but not as much... after all, it is PIE!) He has toured as an actor in the world tour of Jesus Christ Superstar, as a sound tech for the world tour of 42nd Street, production managed the U.S. tour of Big River and consulted for the U.S. tour of the tragically horrible Copacabana. He has worked at many theatres, most of them you have never heard of or don’t really care, (or possibly he does not want to admit to some of them). He has been working with Magik since 1996 as a designer, writer, director, occasional actor and most importantly the guy who makes popcorn on Saturdays. In his free time he is ecstatically married to his best friend, Shannon (insert groan here), and in their free time they like to travel. But mostly he just likes pie...and his wife.
Email: smorgan@magiktheatre.org Since she was eleven, people have paid Shannon to be a newspaper deliverer, fast food worker, cashier, bank teller, telephone receptionist, kennel cleaner, sandwich maker, clerical temp, dishwasher, administrative assistant, box office manager, baker's assistant, lead baker, ebook editor, science teacher, theatre tech, proofreader, props mistress, assessment item writer, costumer, and grant writer. Shannon is also an avid blogger and nascent screenwriter, and is working to complete two young adult novels. She looks forward to being paid for these things, too. When she isn’t attached to her laptop, Shannon loves to travel with her awesome husband, Dave.

She met and worked with Richard Rosen in the mid '80s, in Alice, A Rock Opera as the Cheshire Cat, her all time favorite role. Other Magik roles include: Mrs. Dubose in To Kill A Mockingbird, a very memorable and special opportunity; Mrs. Beauregard, Violet's mother in Willy Wonka; Mrs.Goldstein in Yes, Virginia, There is a Santa Claus & Nana in Peter and Wendy. Angela attended UNT (then North Texas State). She has sung in various local bands and done commercial recording since high school. Angela is immensely proud of her children, Tanner, Avery & Clara, and appreciates their support. Oh, and she really loves her job and the wonderful people she gets to work with every day!

Lizel has her All-Level Teacher Certification in theatre arts. This is her first year at the Magik Theatre. She is currently a cast member of Magik Theatre On The Road and also assists with other educational projects. Prior to joining the Magik Theatre family, Lizel spent 7 years working in theme park entertainment. Other theatrical credits include Westside Story, The Crucible, Cinderella, The Wiz, Once Upon a Mattress, Victor/Victoria and Zombie Prom.

Okay, now that we’ve got the boring stuff out of the way…Aimée's been singing, dancing and playing the piano and french horn since she was in the womb. No, not really, but definitely a long time.While at UT, Aimée marched with the Longhorn Band and was a member of the Ballet Folklorico dance team. Most recently she performed in The Josephine Theatre’s I’d Like To Thank The Academy and Listen to the Music. While juggling the role of Marketing Director at The Magik, Aimée enjoys appearing in Magik productions The Nutcracker, Schoolhouse Rock Live and the upcoming Johnny Guitar, and of course laughing throughout the day with her very talented co-workers.
Email: mollie@magiktheatre.org Born a mortgage banker’s daughter, comedy was in her blood. Mollie began frequenting the Magik stage in 2000, becoming a company member in 2005. She had her first taste of the acting bug at the age of 11, when asked to write and perform a 15 minute skit for her school theater arts class. Forgetting to do the assignment, she improvised the skit in its entirety. She continued to pursue improvisation acting ever since, and later acting, singing, dancing and stunt performing for theme parks around the country. Mollie also enjoys playing the role of Mom to 3 year old comic genius, Tristan Wicall. A couple of her favorite performances on the Magik stage include School House Rock and Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs.

Mark has been involved in musical theatre in San Antonio since 1989. Mark has been involved in musical theatre in San Antonio since 1989. Mark has appeared as a dancer/singer in Sweet Chariots, the Ghost of Christmas Past in SCrooge's Rude Wakening, the Purser in Anything Goes, and served double-duty in Dreamgirls, serving as both musical director and Curtis. Mark is excited to have found a home at The Magik Theatre and brings with him a fresh outlook on original theatre music. Mark attended the University of Texas at at San Antonio as a music major and later attended the Julliard School in New York, earning a degree in voice and French horn performance, with a minor in Theory and Composition.

Carol holds a B.S. in Education from Southwestern University and has pursued post-graduate studies in theatre, English as a Second Language, jazz piano theory, playwriting, and poetry. She has also studied synthesizer and guitar. In San Antonio, Carol taught drama at Longfellow Middle and Jefferson High Schools for ten years, and co-founded both the San Antonio Fine Arts Center and The Freedom Folksingers, with whom she toured nationally. A move to Bethesda, Maryland, began Carol’s rewarding work at Imagination Stage, where she served as Artist-in-Residence (music), Director of Theatre, and Director of AccessAbility. Through AccessAbility, Carol was able to bring together her love of music, theatre, and teaching by exploring the creative process with over 200 children with disabilities. As Project Director for a grant from the United States Department of Education Rehabilitative Services, Carol directed the making of a documentary film called Imagine Working!, which employed actors with disabilities to teach jobseekers with disabilities how to interview for and secure meaningful work. In 2007, Carol was honored for her work at Imagination Stage by the Bethesda-Chevy Chase Chamber of Commerce. Carol’s body of creative work includes four original plays, as well as theatre and film scores. Carol has brought her experience and enthusiasm back to San Antonio to introduce AccessAbility to our community. Carol loves her family deeply. She also loves taking care of animals, spending time in nature, cooking, reading, and discovering new ideas. |

Richard is the creator and founder of The Magik Theatre
Dave is a founding company member of the Magik Theatre. He is a graduate of Texas State University.
